About David and Our Staff

David Roberts

David completed his Bachelor
qualification in 1991, graduating with first class honors and four academic awards in his final year. Prior to this he had accepted a commission from the Royal Australian Navy and on graduation took up his position as a Dental officer and served at numerous locations in Australia and with the United Nations in Rwanda.

David commenced his full time Masters study in 1996 and graduated in 1998. After completing his specialist training he served his remaining time with the Navy in Canberra and Brisbane.

David is a past President of the Queensland branch of the Australian Prosthodontic Society, the Australian Osseointergration Society and the Bennett Movement Dental Study Club. David has been an examiner and lecturer at both undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University of Queensland Dental School and he has lectured extensively on Prosthodontics and Dental Implants throughout Australia and overseas.

Since 2000, he has conducted a Specialist Prosthodontic practice and he has a special interest in full arch implant supported restorations and CADCAM integration in Prosthodontics.

In his time away from the practice David is an avid cyclist, often cycling before work and on weekends and is a founder of the Culte Dentaire peloton. In winter months he enjoys watching rugby union and as a long time loyal Queensland Reds supporter, attending games at Ballymore and Suncorp Stadium. David is also a keen snow skier and enjoys hitting the slopes each year.

Belinda Hubon 

Belinda has 15 years of experience in dentistry, both in general and specialist practices.

During that time she has completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting. The past 9.5 years have been spent working as David’s Senior Clinical Co-ordinator.

Outside of work Belinda enjoys baking and eating sweet treats, catching up with friends and taking her Old English Sheepdog Henry for walks around Brisbane.

Donna Vearing

Donna has recently stepped in to the role of Practice Manager.  Donna has her Certificate III in Dental Assisting and much clinical experience however she embraced the move to administration and after a fulfilling 4 years as our receptionist in our South Brisbane practice, she  is looking forward to taking on her new role. Outside of work, Donna enjoys spending time on the water with her family and supporting and spending time with her rescue greyhound Storm.

Jayde Newton

Jayde joined our team in early 2017 as our receptionist. She has been in the dental industry for over 9 years, working in both general and specialist practices in clinical and administration roles. She has completed Certificate III  in Dental Assisting and has also gained experience working in dental practices in London and Chelsea.

When away from the office, Jayde likes to keep active with yoga and jogging, and also enjoys good food and wine with family and friends.

Ella Cornelissen

Ella has worked in our practice since July 2016. Ella is currently studying a Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Queensland and hopes to further her studies in the dental industry. In her spare time, Ella enjoys advancing her photography skills and going on nature walks across Brisbane.
